GET A PEAK OF THE 2008 ROCKFORD SPEEDWAY SEASON THIS WEEKEND!!!

LOVES PARK, IL (Thursday, March 27, 2008) – Close to 20 of the cars scheduled to compete this season at the Rockford Speedway will be on display this weekend at the Cherryvale Mall in Rockford, IL. Fans are invited to visit the Mall on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to get a sneak peek of the 2008 season.

“We will have a great group of cars on display this weekend,” Gregg McKarns, Rockford Speedway General Manager stated. “We will have some of our Stanley Steemer NASCAR Late Models, All-American Sportsman, Budweiser American Short Trackers, and Coca-Cola RoadRunners on display along with a USAC Midget. Come on out to the mall and check it out!!!”

The Cherryvale Mall is located at 7200 Harrison Ave in Rockford, right off of Interstate 39. The mall hours are 10 am to 9 pm on Friday and Saturday, and Sunday from 11-6.

While visiting the Mall, race fans will be able to pick up valuable coupons for the 2008 race season including $3 off coupons for the 31st Annual Spring Classic on Sunday, April 13th starting at 1 pm. The Big 8 Series will highlight the afternoon of fun with a 100-lap feature. The Mid-American Series will also be competing that afternoon in a 50-lap feature event.
