DRP also introduces a NEW Driving Experience

WISCONSIN DELLS, WI (Monday, August 11, 2008) – Dells Raceway Park officials have announced a new starting time for it’s famous Saturday night racing program. Starting this Saturday, August 16th, the start time for racing will be moved from 7:00 pm to 6:30 pm.
“We are always looking for ways in which to make Dells Raceway Park a more family friendly racing entertainment facility,” Joe Graziano, Dells Raceway Park Promoter stated. “Fans really enjoy a visit to the driver’s pit area after the race program ends. They like to see the cars up close and have a few words with the drivers. By us moving up our start by one half-hour, more families will have that opportunity due to our earlier finish.”
Every Saturday night, fans are treated to five divisions of racing featuring: Super Late Models, Limited Late Models, Super Stocks, Pure Stocks, and Bandits.
The Fan gates open at 4:30 pm, with qualifying at 4:45 pm. The racing action will NOW get underway at 6:30 pm.
Graziano also announced the new Dells Raceway Park Stock Car Driving Experience.
“I am real excited about this new and exciting program. We have two cars completed with four more being finished as we speak,” Graziano said. “These are full size Super Late Model stock cars with an automatic transmission. We want every fan to have an opportunity to get behind the wheel have this unique experience.”
All six cars in the Stock Car Driving Experience are sponsored by Chula Vista Resort. “Chula Vista is putting themselves in a great position to entertain their convention clientele. We have actually built a car for permanent display at the resort so that families will also be made aware of the program,” Graziano stated. “Coupled with our Pit Crew Challenge, Chula Vista has plenty of fun and team building exercises to offer to all visitors to the Wisconsin Dells area.”

This Saturday night, Pepsi presents an evening of racing featuring the Super Late Models, Limited Late Models, Super Stocks, Pure Stocks and a visit from the Wisconsin Sport Trucks. Remember racing starts at 6:30 pm.
